"The weak you have not strengthened, nor have you healed those who were sick, nor bound up the broken, nor brought back what was driven away, nor sough what was lost; but with force and cruelty you have ruled them." -Ezekiel 34:4
The Lord is talking to His Shepherd's, the leaders of His people, who weren't doing their job. Although not all of us are leaders in the strict sense of the word, I think that as the body of Christ this applies to all of us. As Christians we should be leading the sheep.
I want to get out there, stop thinking about myself, and instead,
strengthen the weak.
heal the sick.
bind up the broken.
and seek those who are lost.
Kelley, so this has been heavy on my heart lately..with a myriad of other things. But this message...binding the broken, strengthening the weak, etc... letting God just HAVE my life to do His purposes... And so this evening this really blessed me. Thanks for digging into His Word and sharing this treasure. =)
