{Saturday Sharing: Willa's 365}

I meet this girl named Willa on facebook and the LDPS . I really wish we lived a little closer than we do, because I'm pretty sure we could be friends :) Her style is amazing. I love it!

She's doing a 365 project this year, and I wanted to share some of my favorites. Show her some love, and go check out her other images over at her Tumbler called SOOTC {Straight Out Of The Camera}.

She's good at her stuff:

{Vinyl - May 13th}  I really love this one....

and two more :) really like both of these.

{Miles of Canvas}

"It's not the years you've been painting that count; it's the miles of canvas you've used." ~ Ron Dicianni

This applies to anything you have your heart set on. So get out there, and pursue excellence and practice, practice, practice.

{New}

I'm realizing that it's time, as a Christian, to move beyond God's plan for my life, and start thinking about His plan for creation.

I think God uses His plan for our individual lives to draw us to Him, because, let's face it, we're all too selfish to care about the bigger picture; but eventually we need to realize that things are a lot larger than miracles in our own small lives.

We're just part of his bigger plan.

We're only one small piece of a billion {scratch that - a trillion} piece puzzle. An element in a large wall photo, a supporting character in the first chapter of a 500 page novel, a brush stroke in a museum full of paintings. God's dreams span much more than the 80-90-100 years we're going to be a part of this planet.

His plan is a redeeming plan, one that is going to make all things new.He's not going to stop at just making this world sinless, or flawless. He's not just restoring, He's making it new.

New. As in never used. As in never thought of, never invented before.

We can't even comprehend new, because basically, it's never exsisted before. It's completely new.

How's that for a bigger picture?

It's beyond exciting to try and wrap my mind around these thoughts, and it's thrilling to know that it is coming, and that I'm a tiny part of it all.

"And I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away... And I saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heave from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

"And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, "Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with the, and they shall be his people, and God Himself will be with them and be their God.

"And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying; and there shall be no more pian, for the former things have passed away."

"Then He who sat on the throne said, "Behold, I make all things new."

{Shoes | Staples Motley Sports}

I have this fascination with sports footwear, mainly because they're so specifically designed for a special purpose. They're all shoes, but completely different ones. Plus there also quite the personal statement... just check out some of the colors ;)  A few months ago I decided I wanted to put together a collection of a bunch of different ones.. so here are a few of my favs.

{Mist | Multnomah Falls, Oregon}

"May the Lord bless his land with the precious dew from heaven above, and with the deep waters that lie below;
with the best the sun brings forth and the finest the moon can yield;
with the choicest gifts of the ancient mountains and the fruitfulness of the everlasting hills;
with the best gifts of the earth and it's fullness and the favor of him who dwelt in the burning bush."
{Deuteronomy 33:13-16}

I realized today that other than a couple ocean shots, I'd never posted pictures of Oregon from my trip last summer. This one was taken at Multnomah Falls, a beautiful early morning shoot in the misting rain. You just might be seeing more of them soon....
